MV8650 is a specialized integrated circuit that encompasses efficient CAMERA functions, MPEG4/H.263 simple profile level 3 and H.264 baseline profile compliant codec functions, Mobile TV solution and various AUDIO codecs.It minimizes the main processor’s workload and provides 30fps@QVGA of preview. Also, it executes hardware based real-time JPEG compression & decompression as well as MPEG4/H.263/H.264 video data processing for the various application platform.
MV8650 supports up to 5 mega pixel sensors based on 8 bits YUV signal input with SYNC signals. And this data is controlled in MV8650 and output to TV with 720x480 size. Also MPEG4/H.263 data can display on TV with direct connect with TV.
MV8650 works as a multimedia processor by lessening the responsibilities of the host, supporting the application software, and allowing feasibility of additional functions.
