MV8630 is a specialized integrated circuit that encompasses efficient CAMERA functions, MPEG4 simple profile level 3 compliant codec functions, 3D acceleration and various AUDIO Codec with software application process for mobile platforms.It executes hardware based real-time JPEG compression as well as MPEG4 data processing, 3D acceleration and software application processing.
MV8630 supports up to 5 mega pixel sensors based on 8 bits YUV signal input with SYNC signals. And this data is controlled in MV8630 and output to TV with 720x480 size. Also MPEG4/H.263 data can display on TV with direct connect with TV.
MV8630 works as a multimedia processor by lessening the responsibilities of the host, supporting the application software, and allowing feasibility of additional functions.
