MV3315SNK is a Camera Control Processor providing the most efficient camera functions for portable terminal devices such as a mobile handset. MV3315SNK provides real-time JPEG compression and decompression based hardware with minimizing tasks of the handset main processor. MV3315SNK directly transmits and previews the RGB data to the LCD graphic memory by processing the sensor output data according to the cell phone’s command.MV3315SNK provides features such as image capturing and previewing in 90, 180, 270-degree which enables developers to be free from limitation of positioning sensors to fit the design space in PCB design layout. MV3315SNK also provides dynamic menu display and Picture-in-Picture (a variable size window with On Screen Display functions) through EZ-OSD with PREVIEW operation. One of the EZ-OSD features is a real-time update operation in camera preview mode. MV3315SNK is integrated with a hardware 2D graphic Acceleration Engine for gaming application. The JPEG based motion pictures can be stored as much as the maximum capacity of the image buffer.
MV3315SNK provides 5 different levels of power control states from standby state to full operation state.
